The Transition Resource Fair is designed to provide students and families with valuable information, resources, and connections as they prepare for the transition from children’s services to adult services through DDS.
The free, community fair offers a meaningful opportunity to build relationships with representatives from local organizations who can help you on the transition journey. Transition planning typically takes place between the ages of 14 and 22.
The Department of Developmental Services in Hampshire County will present information about the transition process.
SCHEDULE 5:15 PM: Doors open to public: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Overall hours of the fair 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM: DDS Transition presentation: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Exhibitor Resource Fair
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available.
The Transition Resource Fair is sponsored by Family Empowerment/Franklin County, ServiceNet, and the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
