- ➤ A Chinese New Year gala celebrating the Year of the Horse took place Sunday at the Basketball Hall of Fame, where organizers featured dragon dances, musical performances, hands-on activities, and Chinese cuisine from local restaurants and was hosted by the Chinese American Cultural and Heritage Society. - ➤ The U.S. Navy Concert Band performed at Springfield Symphony Hall Sunday at 2 p.m. as part of a nationwide tour for the 250th anniversary, and eleven local students joined onstage.
