- ➤ After a decade-long effort, the Ramos family got a guardrail installed to protect their home, which two weeks ago sustained damage when a third car veered off the road (the house remains safe). - ➤ BusinessWest is accepting nominations for its 12th annual 40 Under Forty Alumni Achievement Award until Thursday, Apr. 9. Finalists will be featured in BusinessWest and the winner will be announced at the PeoplesBank+MassMutual Center gala on Thursday, June 11. BusinessWest

- ➤ American International College is honoring alumnus John Buonani with an exhibit featuring his art, writing, and music that runs through March 30 at the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center (1000 State St. in Springfield). - ➤ At E. Cecchi Farms, co-owner Michael Cecchi said fertilizer for vegetable fields may cost more due to the conflict in the Middle East, although greenhouse supplies remain secure.
