- ➤ Springfield Rotary Club is inviting registered nonprofits to apply for 2026 grants awarding up to $2,000 for capital improvement projects (applications must clearly state purpose and expected outcomes). Applications are due by 5 p.m. on April 10. BusinessWest
- ➤ Springfield Technical Community College celebrated 15 years of the GoFresh Mobile Market on Wednesday evening with partners like Wellspring Harvest. - ➤ Springfield resident Hassan Mourad, stranded in Lebanon amid conflict, has turned his ordeal into humanitarian work by delivering food, diapers, and meals for Ramadhan to displaced families, working with local charities (Amity Foundation, Banin Charity Association, and Wish Foundation), even as his plans to return home remain delayed.
