- ➤ Springfield College has withdrawn its plan to close Wilbraham Avenue between King and Hickory streets after neighbors voiced strong opposition. College and community leaders will meet in April to address ongoing traffic safety concerns on the busy local artery. MassLive
- ➤ Runners and walkers will gather in Holyoke tomorrow for the 49th annual Holyoke St. Patrick’s Road Race starting at 1 p.m. Organizers expect around 6,000 runners and up to 700 walkers to finish on Beech Street with a block party downtown. Western Mass News
- ➤ A late pub owner will be honored during an upcoming St. Pat’s celebration in Springfield — local residents will gather to pay tribute to his enduring legacy. Western Mass News
