- ➤ On Saturday, the Zoo in Forest Park opened for its 2025 season with zookeeper talks+ animal encounters+ enrichment demonstrations. The nonprofit zoo will operate weekends only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through mid-May, will run daily from April 12th through 27th, and will switch to seven-day service after Mother's Day. - ➤ The Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club hosted its annual comedy fundraiser, Revelry — A Funnyraising Comedy Show, at Springfield Performing Arts Ventures last Saturday. The event featured a silent raffle and comedy acts by Timothy Lovett, Coleman Green, and Kim DeShields with Jess Miller Comedy Shows to raise funds for river-based dragon boating and rowing programs for youth and adults.
