- ➤ Police and emergency crews responded to a call near Malden Street in a Springfield neighborhood shortly before 2 p.m. Friday—roping off the area, placing evidence markers, and deploying the crime scene unit. Western Mass News

Reginald Miller sued his department because he said he was treated unfairly when white candidates were chosen for promotion while he was treated for cancer in 2020—he was later made captain and now works in the Records Department.
