- ➤ Today, during the sixth day of jury selection in Karen Read's retrial, ten jurors have been seated for the case in which she is accused of killing her Boston police officer boyfriend John O’Keefe with her SUV in 2022 (at least 16 jurors are needed before the trial can begin) while her defense team asks the US Supreme Court to delay the retrial over a double jeopardy issue.
