- ➤ White Lion Brewing is hosting Pridelands on Mane Street—an expanded outdoor beer garden at Tower Square Park downtown—this summer from June 3 through early September. The event will offer lunchtime and evening gatherings with live music, food, and community partnerships. MassLive

- ➤ Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell announced a $500,000 phone-free schools support grant to create distraction-free learning spaces in Springfield and boost student mental health; the grant (up to $50,000 per school) will start on Sept. 1 with applications due by 5 p.m. Friday, June 5. - ➤ Massachusetts high school students urge schools to add Narcan training in basic life support classes after reports show pills laced with fentanyl pose a growing risk. - ➤ Albright’s Raw Pet Food has recalled a lot of its Chicken Recipe for Dogs after the FDA detected salmonella risks, and Massachusetts pet owners should check product labels for lot code (C001730) and safely dispose of any affected product. - ➤ The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association released its fourth baseball power rankings on Friday, May 8 — 32 teams with at least a 50-percent record qualify for postseason play. MassLive
