- ➤ On Saturday, State Police, Agawam Police & Fire and MassDOT responded to a multi-vehicle crash on the South End Bridge that led to its temporary closure while traffic was diverted to Memorial Bridge, and early reports linked the incident to a suspect from an earlier event as the investigation continues. - ➤ State officials said that recent rains have eased drought conditions across Massachusetts—especially in central areas that have returned to normal, though Cape Cod remains in significant drought.
