- ➤ Officials confirmed that 57-year-old Annabelle Rufino, who was struck in a pedestrian hit-and-run on Monday, died Tuesday. Western Mass News
- ➤ Springfield police identified Annabelle Rufino, a 57-year-old city resident, as the victim in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bay and Bowles streets—officials reported that a white Acura believed to have struck her was found Monday afternoon. MassLive
- ➤ On Monday afternoon, an 18-year-old man named Akram El Moukhtari crashed his motorcycle into State Police Lieutenant Donald Bossi on Revere Beach Boulevard when he did not try to avoid him—Bossi, who was lucky to be alive despite a broken pelvis and a broken nose—and he fled the scene before later surrendering in Chelsea on $50,000 bail with a pre-trial hearing set for July 18.
