CRIME NEWS

  • At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, a West Springfield officer was struck when 25-year-old Leeony Tessier crashed into a police cruiser on Riverdale Street and Ashley Ave and was arrested for operating under the influence after a Corona beer and several open alcohol containers were found in his car.  Western Mass News
  • A 25-year-old West Springfield man, Leeony Tessier, crashed into a police cruiser early Saturday when his car turned left at Riverdale Street and Ashley Avenue, admitted to drinking several Coors Lights, and was booked after officers discovered numerous open containers of alcohol — an officer sustained minor injuries — while passengers left uninjured.  MassLive

  • The Springfield Chamber Players Clarinet Quartet will perform on July 27 at the Academy in Worthington—dedicating the show to Mark Auerbach, who served as the group’s public relations director since its 2021 founding.
