- ➤ At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, a West Springfield officer was struck when 25-year-old Leeony Tessier crashed into a police cruiser on Riverdale Street and Ashley Ave and was arrested for operating under the influence after a Corona beer and several open alcohol containers were found in his car. - ➤ A 25-year-old West Springfield man, Leeony Tessier, crashed into a police cruiser early Saturday when his car turned left at Riverdale Street and Ashley Avenue, admitted to drinking several Coors Lights, and was booked after officers discovered numerous open containers of alcohol — an officer sustained minor injuries — while passengers left uninjured.
