ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Saturday night, a car crashed into a house on Eastern Avenue and the Springfield Fire Department responded — one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Western Mass News

CRIME NEWS

  • A man was shot on Main St. in Springfield late Saturday night and taken to Baystate Medical Center where he died—police are investigating the incident.  Western Mass News

  • Terry Francona, the former Red Sox manager, earned his 2,000th win on Sunday when the Reds beat the Rockies 4–2, making him the 13th MLB manager to reach this milestone. He left the Guardians after 2023 and now holds a record of 2,000–1,719.  MassLive
