- ➤ Monson Savings Bank donated $2,000 to the Miracle League of Western Massachusetts as part of its 2025 Community Giving Initiative to support a safe baseball program for children with disabilities in the Springfield area—check was handed to league officials by the bank's senior vice president. - ➤ Freedom Credit Union in Springfield is renewing its summer fundraiser to support the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts until Aug. 31 by inviting donations of non-perishable food, personal care items, or cash.
