- ➤ Forest Park Zoo held its Spooky Safari on Saturday to finish the season, where about 600 visitors walked a trick-or-treat trail, joined a costume contest, and saw animals up close—providing a final family event before the off-season. Visitors can see their favorite animals this Sunday and next weekend before the zoo closes for the season. Western Mass News

- ➤ On Saturday night, the Springfield Thunderbirds launched the Luff's Pups initiative at the MassMutual Center during their Pucks and Paws event. Forward Matt Luff pledged to donate $50 for every point he scores this season + proceeds from dog tickets will benefit the TJO Foundation for Animals. Western Mass News
