- ➤ Red Fire Farm in Granby is rebuilding its barn nearly two years after a fire to better serve western Mass. Michel and Hannah Moushabeck launched Interlink Foundation + will host a holiday market soon while Mr. Universe discussed Asteroid Bennu’s role in future exploration. New England Public Media
- ➤ A Westfield landscaper from New England Lawncare donated about a dozen bikes Tuesday to the local Toys for Tots campaign to help kids learn to ride bikes + enjoy the holidays. The toy drive continues until Friday in Springfield. Western Mass News

- ➤ Some Springfield Eversource customers saw a jump in bills after a new smart meter program began over a month ago. Karen Paris said her bill more than doubled from under $60, and Eversource explained that state requirements add extra fees (despite no recent rate change). Western Mass News
- ➤ Family Destinations Guide reports that 10 Massachusetts cities offer affordable living for retirees on fixed incomes with low housing costs, utilities, and daily expenses.
