About this event

Don't know how to get started with your search for internships outside of the US?

Learn about search strategy and MHC-specific resources from staff of the Career Development and McCulloch Centers, along with students who’ve successfully secured international internships before.

We will cover how to: set goals, find opportunities to match those goals, build strong applications and make a good choice when offered an opportunity.

This program is part of a suite of summer planning workshops offered intentionally around the LEAP Symposium and the launch of the 2026-2027 Lynk Summer Funding Program. We recommend that you select one of the following workshops; choose the one that best aligns with your goals rather than trying to attend more than one - about half of the content will overlap between programs.

• Finding an Internship

• Finding International Internships

• Finding Summer Science Research

• First Year, First Summer

All sophomores and juniors should also plan to attend the Lynk Summer Experience Program Orientation (unless you've already completed the program).

This workshop can also be offered for specific majors or groups of students with similar interests. To request a targeted workshop for your Student Organization, please email internships@mtholyoke.edu . If you would like a workshop targeted to your major, ask your department chair to reach out to Alexis MacGregor, Assistant Director of Experiential Learning, to schedule a session.
