- ➤ Springfield man Kaysone Walters, 37, was sentenced by a Hampden County judge to life in prison without parole—he will also serve 18 to 20 years concurrently for an armed carjacking tied to the August 2021 murder of 25-year-old Bri Boiselle, whose body was found on Baldwin Street with 56 stab wounds. - ➤ Van Sickle Middle School students learned golf basics last Tuesday at the newly renovated Franconia Golf Course under PGA pro Steven Carle’s guidance.
