If you're a Baystate patient, bring some patience. Baystate Health launched a new Oracle Health electronic record system Nov. 1, the same day it took over the former Mercy Medical Center from Trinity Health New England. Patients have reported trouble scheduling appointments, reaching the patient portal and getting through on the phones.
Longmeadow's Monique Albano told Western Mass News she waited almost 11 hours in the emergency room at Baystate Mercy on Monday without seeing a doctor. Baystate said it is "at times experiencing some longer registration and wait times" and, as of Friday evening, was not aware of any patient safety events from the rollout.
